This is the website for Tatami no Mishima in Nishikyogoku, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City. They use HAKU.
HAKU not only incorporates Japanese elements but was also a stylish theme perfectly suited to the site we envisioned. Rather than just a store site, we boldly packed HAKU full of everything we could, hoping to share the beauty of Japanese tatami mats with the world.
For Japan, we created it hoping people would recognize the importance of things taken for granted. We wanted to convey not just tatami as a product, but also the wonderful effects, benefits, processes, history, and sentiments behind “our tatami.”
We are truly grateful for creating such a wonderful theme. We packed so much into it, and we hope it reaches as many people as possible.
I believe HAKU is the perfect choice for a website aimed at promoting the merits of tatami mats—a true Japanese tradition—both domestically and internationally. HAKU’s Japanese-inspired design complements images of tatami and Japanese landscapes beautifully. The header content, combining images and video, effectively showcases the appeal of tatami.
>>Header content that captivates users with elegant animations
Furthermore, the content placed on the top page can be easily created simply by setting text and images, requiring no specialized knowledge.
>>Simply set text and images. Top page design to enhance product value and brand power.
This should serve as a useful reference for those considering sharing Japanese traditions overseas. Please take a look.
