Introducing the website for “Masumi Calligraphy School,” which operates a calligraphy classroom in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture. They are using the TCD theme CANON. Having celebrated their 20th anniversary since opening, it’s clear this is a classroom deeply rooted in the community and beloved by many students.
This is the website for the calligraphy classroom I run in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture.
Coinciding with their 20th anniversary, I decided on a whim at year’s end to use the New Year’s break for a website renewal.
I own quite a few TCD templates; this is probably my 10th website built with them. Since calligraphy is a traditional Japanese art, I often see studio and calligrapher sites using Japanese or traditional Japanese-style templates. However, I’m not particularly fond of overly obvious designs, so I deliberately avoided Japanese or traditional Japanese templates.
Since this is a calligraphy studio, I also searched extensively for templates suited for salons, shops, or classrooms. But I’m the type who gets quite particular about even minor details. When purchasing, I start by looking for options to keep costs down, but often find they don’t quite match my vision when actually using them, leading to wasted effort.
TCD templates are refined, so any choice is safe, though I suspect the photos also play a significant role.
