We are honored that interior design atelier “Casadino” has chosen CANON for their website.
I’ve always been very fond of TCD’s themes.
About ten years ago, I briefly ran a blog,
and when looking at reference sites back then,
I noticed that many of the themes that caught my eye
were using MAG.This time, as I was considering creating a site for my interior design and coordination business,
CANON was released. I felt it closely matched my envisioned look,
so after some deliberation, I purchased it and proceeded with the site build.All the themes released so far have been truly excellent.
I’ve purchased several and use some themes on other sites.Despite owning other themes, I chose to purchase CANON specifically because of:
・A design that makes photos stand out
・An impression of soft elegance and high quality
・Subtle color palette
・Exceptional presentation of project examples (guest rooms in the theme)
・A layout that naturally guides visitors through blog posts and project examples without needing extra effort
These points were key.Listing them like this makes it sound analytical,
but since I also focus on “atmosphere,” “impression,” and “vibe” in my work,
I felt it “definitely matched the image” – including aspects beyond words.Particular points I focused on during site creation were:
・Fonts
・Colors
・Text size
・Image cropping and usage
etc.The overall impression conveyed by the site
should be perceived as the living spaces we provide.
Therefore, for photos, text, and color usage, we worked while viewing both PC and smartphone versions,
carefully cropping and using the most visually striking parts of images, repeatedly adjusting the balance as we progressed.
There are still many areas requiring adaptation, such as switching photos to mobile-specific versions,
but we hope to gradually increase the content as well.
CANON’s refined design and premium interior imagery perfectly align with Casadino’s worldview, resulting in a highly polished website. While the demo site was created with a hotel in mind, it also harmonizes well with interior design.
The theme’s custom post type “Restaurant” is utilized for service introductions, while the custom post type “Guest Rooms” serves as case studies.

We hope this serves as a useful reference example of a website built using CANON.
