The website of “Onsen Lab,” a media outlet sharing information about hot springs, utilizes the WordPress theme REHUB.
We wanted to create a media platform where true hot spring enthusiasts gather, aiming to feature only hidden hot springs with natural flowing springs, rustic hot springs, and premium hot springs.
Since many hot spring enthusiasts enjoy photography, we customized the site to allow users to post photos with their reviews.
We’re recruiting members who love hot springs, issuing accounts → aiming to create a media platform where they can write specialized hot spring blogs.
“Onsen Lab” features a wide range of unique hot spring information from across Japan, covering everything from hidden gems known only to the initiated to historic, rustic hot springs. Among these are many hot springs with the profound charm unique to hidden gems, places you’ll want to visit even if it takes time to get there.
REHUB incorporates features like a “filter search function” and “Japan map function” to enhance user convenience. Its structure allows searching for desired hot springs based on multiple criteria such as area, keyword, and features. These functions further enhance “Onsen Lab”‘s information dissemination capabilities, contributing to a more user-friendly and appealing website for visitors.
>>Added filter functionality to improve searchability of review articles
>>Elevated to a nationwide site with a high-functionality Japan map
We hope you find this useful as a reference for creating your site with REHUB.
