This is the website for the “Department of Microstructure Analysis, Advanced Materials Research Infrastructure, The University of Tokyo.” It utilizes NANO. This site was developed by Interactis Inc..
The client is a leading nanotechnology research facility within a national university, operating equipment such as scanning transmission electron microscopes.
Beyond the perfect fit for the theme name “NANO,” we selected it for its simple yet meticulously calculated layout structure that aligns perfectly with the intended content.During development, we implemented customizations using child themes. This included creating a user-friendly UI for researchers (including those from external institutions) to easily execute the entire workflow from project application and equipment reservation to results reporting. We also added administrative panel features enabling equipment managers to efficiently handle project management, approvals, and annual reporting.
The header buttons “New User Registration” and “User Login” were custom-implemented. The homepage content utilizes NANO’s design, with navigation to subpages stylishly positioned. The content builder feature allows for flexible content addition and reordering.

Additionally, NANO offers the “Project Showcase” custom post type, ideal for highlighting research achievements and other accomplishments.
We would be delighted if you could take a look at examples of NANO in action.
