We’ve been using it for about five years now.
As a survival strategy for local shrines during the pandemic, we built our online offering site based on ICONIC.To create an online offering space that feels authentic to a shrine rather than a typical e-commerce site, we made detailed customizations like using “offering fees” instead of “sales prices” and “offering basket” instead of “cart”.
You can apply online for offerings like amulets and goshuin stamps. While it was originally established as a response to the pandemic, it seems likely more shrines will adopt such initiatives going forward.
Furthermore, the hero header on the homepage prominently displays appealing offerings, effectively showcasing them.
