I instantly knew “This is it!” upon seeing the demo site’s first view and purchased it immediately.
The slow zoom-in and zoom-out are simply elegant and beautiful. Clients who commission design work from us also contact us saying, “That initial screen is wonderful.”
While STORY is one of the older TCD themes, making customization somewhat challenging, it’s fully manageable with CSS and a bit of PHP knowledge.
The impactful first view allowed us to create a cohesive, feminine aesthetic, including the imagery.As a designer, I could create my own original site, but because of the positive feedback from clients, I’ve ultimately kept using this theme without changing it.
It possesses an inherently refined and sophisticated presence, making it a website that perfectly fits the word “elegant.” Particularly striking is the zoom-in/zoom-out animation on the first view, which captivates the eye the moment you land on the site.
Furthermore, meticulously designed animations are incorporated throughout, such as content gently floating into view as you scroll, and subtle rollover animations that change when hovering over buttons or images. These animations are never overly flashy; instead, they harmonize with the site’s overall atmosphere, creating a pleasant rhythm and leaving visitors with a refined impression.
