RUBY DRAGON BOOKS uses Switch on their website.
Our latest book, “A Guide to Cutting Ties with Toxic Parents,” released last October, has been nominated for the CAMPFIRE Crowdfunding Award 2023. The book’s editor is a member of our team and a survivor of abuse who is still under police protection. Because of this, our label operates without a public address.
To avoid a somber tone, we have implemented the following:
- All staff members dress as characters
- The website is presented in a storybook style
- Readers can gather hints, “magical keys,” scattered throughout the site and the book to eventually find our physical store
We are deeply grateful for the password feature that allows us to do this. Thank you for your continued support.
Although more and more bookstores seem to be forced to close their doors due to the rise of giant platforms, we hear that many bookstores like this one are gaining fans with their unique worldview and concept.
