GENSEN is being used by “Tabichirakashi”, which operates a tourist information website.
I actually visit the area myself and write articles about it. Because there are many different types of articles, both in terms of area and theme, I was looking for a design with a good search function.
On the top page, I am conscious of the appearance of the site so that users can easily find what they are looking for by purpose or area, so that they can reach the content they want to see. In creating the site, I tried to incorporate content that I wanted to include, while being careful not to destroy the original GENSEN design.
I want users who come to “Tabichirakashi” to leave with at least one learning experience that will become a life experience, rather than simply an enjoyable consumption of their trip.
For this reason, we are considering adding more contents that allow visitors to learn about the history and geography of the area they are touring. Although it is a little different from articles introducing sightseeing spots, GENSEN is designed to show each content in an organized manner, and we would like to make good use of this design to make the site more substantial.
As mentioned in the comments, there were various types of articles such as “hot springs,” “local cuisine,” “shrines and temples,” etc., which made me want to read them one after another. It is not just an information site about travel, but also has a full range of contents such as articles to learn about the history of wars.
Even if there are many contents, GENSEN’s advanced search function makes it easy for users to find the articles they want to read. If you are considering GENSEN, please take a look.
